1. Introduction

Welcome to JobTailor. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our resume enhancement service. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

JobTailor offers AI-assisted resume enhancement based on user-provided job descriptions. This service is intended to help users tailor their resumes to better align with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and job requirements.

3. Account and Payment

  • Users may purchase individual resume enhancements or subscribe for unlimited access for the duration of the membership.
  • All payments are processed securely via a third-party provider (Stripe). We do not store your credit card information.
  • No refunds are issued once an enhancement has been generated.

4. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you upload, including your resume and job description.
  • You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates any third-party rights.
  • All enhanced resumes should be reviewed by you for accuracy and honesty before submission to employers. JobTailor does not guarantee job placement.

5. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, service marks, graphics, and content on JobTailor are the property of JobTailor or its licensors. You may not reuse, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.

6. Disclaimers

JobTailor provides services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding job placement, resume scoring improvements, or outcomes from using our services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobTailor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our services, including loss of opportunities or employment.

8. Data Privacy

We do not store or retain user resumes or job descriptions. Minimal user data (such as user ID and membership status) is stored securely. By using our service, you consent to our limited use of your data as described.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. We encourage you to review the Terms periodically.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may also terminate your account at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
